Community Activity:  17 years active member of James River Kiwanis serving in all capacities.  Active at Christ the King Lutheran serving in many capacities,  and other numerous charity organizations throughout metro Richmond.

Presently owns and operates the development firm, Hunt Investments, LLC.  and Chairman of the Board of Genesis Properties, Inc.

1968 – 1971 

Manager of Production for Lomas & Nettleton, United Mortgage Servicing Corporation, and Mortgage Associates, Inc.

1971 – 1973 

Self-employed Loan Broker.

1973 – 1975

Senior Vice President for Mortgage Associates, Inc., a regional mortgage banking company in charge of loan production offices throughout the U.S.

1975 – 1977 

Real Estate Sales for Ralph H. Dudley, Inc., Realtor in Richmond.  Won Diamond Award from the Richmond Board of Realtors for closing 107 houses in one year.

1977 – 1985 

President of Real Estate Brokerage Firm, ERA Ronald H. Hunt Inc., Realtors.  Three offices and 85 sales associates.  Sold firm in 1985.

1985 – Present

Former owner and founder of Genesis Properties Inc. and Construction 1st.  Presently owner and Managing Partner of Hunt Investments, LLC and Chairman of Genesis Properties, Inc. Board of Directors.

Purchased, renovated, and managed over 400 single family homes in the Richmond area.

Have purchased, renovated, newly constructed, and managed over $350 Million and over 3500 units of apartments in Richmond, Petersburg and Newport News.

Signature Projects:

American Heritage Building.  First high rise in Richmond.  Ten (10) story historic renovation and adaptive reuse from office to apartments, retail, and office space.

Affordable Housing – Specialized in the utilization of Low income and historic tax credits and developed over 1200 units.

Edison Apartments – Developed and renovated former Dominion Power Fourteen (14) story office building built in 1910, 352 parking deck, and annex building built in 1952.  Adaptive reuse and historic renovation to 174 upscale apartments with retail on first level.

Hatcher Tobacco Flatts– One of the finest Affordable Apartments complexes in Virginia.  151 units in the Manchester Area of Richmond which as some the most expensive luxury apartments in the City of Richmond.
